Psychotherapy
Inner Development through Integrating
Eastern and Western Perspectives and Practices My approach to psychotherapy is based on my understanding that we're already unique expressions of life itself, with our own form of wisdom, creativity, and self-direction. The human condition is such that we tend to get divided within ourselves and lose our sense of wholeness. I help people get in touch with themselves and communicate with their self-limiting beliefs and problematic narratives. When we’re willing to be more intimate with what we’re experiencing, moment by moment, we can gradually liberate ourselves from our stuck places. By remaining present-centered and body-based, our psychological, emotional or relational issues can be transformed into sane expressions of our unique individuality.
I work individually with clients offering deep dialogue, sensory awareness, meditation, with emphasis on remaining grounded in the body. Working through emotional knots and deep seated personality patterns allows their gradual transformation into an embodied sense of presence. I utilize a variety of approaches, including psychoanalytic, Jungian, developmental, narrative, somatically oriented methods, as well as the Enneagram. I use the perennial wisdom traditions of the East, particularly Buddhism, to create a unique approach for each individual. My practice with clients is oriented towards the psychospiritual development of the whole person. |
